LITERARI – NARRATIONS

Some stories are meant to entertain.

These are meant to be lived with.

Literari – Narrations is where La Vita becomes language.

Here, we release short works — novellas, fragments, reflections — that move between memory, place, and identity.

These stories are not rushed. They are not optimized.

They arrive when they are ready.

You’ll find:

  • Novellas rooted in Italian cities, streets, and small moments

  • Narratives that blur fiction, memory, and observation

  • Stories about leaving, returning, belonging, and becoming

  • Quiet works meant to be read slowly, reread, or set down and remembered later

Some are written in English.

Some drift toward Italian.

All assume a reader who already feels something when they hear certain names, places, or gestures.

We don’t explain everything.

We trust the reader.

Like everything in La Vita, nothing appears here unless it has been carried, revised, and lived with. These are not products meant to keep your attention — they are offerings meant to keep you company.

If fashion is what you wear,

Literari is what you return to.

Optional quiet line at the bottom (if you want one):

Read slowly. Remember freely.

Leggi piano. Ricorda.

Catching Cupid — Verona

A Literari Narration

Some cities remember love differently.

Catching Cupid is a short literary work set in Verona — not the Verona of postcards and performances, but the lived city: streets at dusk, unfinished conversations, gestures that linger longer than words.

This story moves quietly between:

  • A modern observer walking the city

  • An older presence that has never fully left it

  • The idea that love, once released, doesn’t disappear — it circulates

Cupid is not a myth here.

He is a memory. A function. A force that changes hands.

The story unfolds through fragments, encounters, and moments of recognition rather than plot. It is less about catching Cupid than realizing when you already have.

Turin — Turin Liquid

A Literari Narration

Some cities are encountered.

Others are returned to.

Turin — A Son of Italy is a semi-autobiographical literary work shaped by walking, memory, and inheritance. It moves between Turin and Chicago, between rivers and rail lines, between what was lived and what was passed down.

This is not a memoir in the traditional sense.

It is a reconstruction.

The narrator follows traces:

A grandfather’s labor in Chicago, running parallel to Turin

A family’s silent power

A city built on order, restraint, and buried intensity

Observations of the mythical force that moves with the river

Turin appears as a place of discipline and devotion—industrial, Catholic, exacting. A city that does not perform itself, but expects you to notice.

What emerges is not a personal history alone, but a larger one:
how lineage travels, how work marks the body and mind, how places are marked in return, and how belief persists when language fades.

Some inherit land. Others inherit direction.
